My version of the future- TOR is dominant, and the governments have blocked the 'surface' web. The remaining domains are .org domains. Tight censorship is everywhere, and the un-censored stuff is .onion domains. China has destroyed their .cn domains. North Korea has hacked nothing. Goodbye internet. Goodbye.

Windows 8 RTM- hated, unused, kicked to the curb. , support ended Jan 2016, what to do? HOME SITUATION- Upgrade to Windows 8.1 or 10. Downgrade to Windows 7. DISCONNECT FROM THE WEB. If you need the web- use Chrome, Firefox, or Opera, NOT INTERNET EXPLORER. WORK SITUATION- Upgrade to Windows 10. Downgrade to Windows 7. Only use 8 RTM on the web to access FTP servers using chrome or opera. RUN ALL SYSTEM UPDATES, if possible, upgrade to Windows 8.1. The Windows 8 start screen, displaying the default wallpaper on the DESKTOP tile.
